In 2006, Stronghold Preservation were involved in the new build school in Strabane. The school was designed so that the lower ground floor had a retaining basement wall. Stronghold Preservation were asked to design and specify a suitable basement waterproofing system.

Stronghold Preservation decided that an internal cavity drain basement waterproofing system would be preferable, due to the ease of installation, reliability and accessibility for maintenance. Installation was carried out by Stronghold Preservation's trained operatives, which gave Stronghold Preservation the confidence to issue a 10 year guarantee to the client.
